Use of imported silk velvet and mohair fabrics. Carved rug is silk and wool. Subtle custom colored soft grey envelopes room. 

Country Retreat

Large country retreat for entertaining. Dining and Gathering Room floors are stained soft grey; beams were captured from a 19th century barn. 

Soft, comfortable upholstered pieces, hand woven area rug and an antique french chandelier wired for electricity absolutely bring the room to life.

The Master Bath features a concrete counters, grey ceramic floor and a hammered copper Japanese soaking Tub.

House Beautiful Showhouse Winner

Salon like setting where intelligent conversation, good food, good books, and good wine are shared. The room features a group of 19th century paintings, rush matting floor covering, and 19th century lounge chairs in muslin.

Urban Apartment

A mix of modern comfortable upholstery pieces juxtaposed against antique Biedermeier chairs. A pair of custom fabricated benches and iron art deco console are all this space needs. 

Nantucket Residence

The client was worried about my suggestion to paint the mahogany dining chairs white! However, he was thrilled with the results.

Formal Dining Room

Simple window shades, transitional table and chairs, mixed with the antique china cabinet result in an elegant mix. Ceiling is covered in gold patterned paper.

Morning Room in Country Estate

The client’s home is decorated in rich reds, golds, and greens; but in this space she requested a breath of fresh air with a color palette of soft blues, pale yellows and off-whites. The space is arranged with three comfortable seating groups.

Boutique Lobby

Custom designed banquettes in commercial grade suede fabric, combined with hand blown Italian lights, and metallic tile walls create a rich, transitional elegance. The concierge desk is upholstered in leather. Accented with silver nail head trim.

Traditional Dining Room

Custom designed English dining table with electrified 19th century French chandelier surrounded by period mid-19th century wall covering in greys and taupes.

Family Room

This space includes two levels creating a media area with custom sofa, deep enough for two people to cuddle. The elevated area has room for additional seating and game table.
